The origins of Celler Sa Premsa date back to 1958 when Antonio Mayol, banker by profession, decided to remodel an old warehouse in the center of Palma de Mallorca into a welcoming restaurant. Without any experience in the hospitality industry, he decided to create a place for everyone who likes to enjoy the Majorcan cuisine.
During the earliest beginnings, word of mouth from both, locals and visitors, contributed to the great success of the restaurant. This tradition has continued to this day, making the restaurant Celler Sa Premsa a must-see.
More than half a century later, the dream of Antonio is still alive. Now the third family generation takes care of the original essence of the restaurant: quality and service at a reasonable price. The winning formula for success since Celler Sa Premsa first opened its doors in 1958.
Not only the family restaurant itself stands for Majorcan tradition, which is also reflected in the traditional Majorcan cuisine and its wines from local and national wineries, as well as in its decoration, which has remained unaltered since almost 1958.
